Clear help with your building project.
Practical and affordable quantity surveying and building contract support from planning the work through to final account and completion. For homeowners, developers, contractors and subcontractors in the Isle of Man and England and Wales.
Support at every stage.
Whether you are commissioning the work or carrying it out, I can help establish clear figures, understand the contract and work through commercial issues.
Pre Contract
Budgets and cost plans, estimating, scopes of work, tender and quotation reviews, and clear commercial arrangements before work starts.
Post Contract
Project cost control, valuations, variations, payment issues and assessment of building contract disputes while work is underway.
Final Account / Completion
Reviewing final accounts, outstanding payments and the commercial position at completion, with practical support towards resolution.
Know the cost before each stage begins.
Every instruction starts with an initial consultation. If further work would be useful, I will explain the recommended stages and provide the cost of each stage before you decide whether to proceed.
- 1. Initial consultation: discuss the project, the immediate concerns, the available records and the likely next steps.
- 2. Written proposal: receive a clear scope and fee for any document review, cost assessment, report or other recommended work.
- 3. Approval: choose whether to proceed with that stage after considering the proposed work and cost.
- 4. Further support: any later stage, meeting or negotiation support is priced and agreed before it begins.
